The SSID of your Airtel 4G Hotspot represents the name of
your wireless router. When your Wi-Fi connection is activated and your friend
searches for your Airtel 4G Hotspot, the SSID is what appears.
Since your friend or relative can easily identify your 4G
Hotspot through the SSID, it is recommendable that you customize it using the
name you prefer. For easy identification, I may decide to switch from the
default SSID of my 4G Hotspot by using the name Solidarity-7F. So, each time
the Wi-Fi of my Airtel 4G Hotspot is active, any authorized person –who already
knows I use Solidarity-7F as my SSID –can easily to connect to it.
For easy personalization and configuration of your Airtel 4G
Hotspot, the wireless router is equipped with a web management console which
may be accessed via the link http://192.168.1.1/
