This gargantuan device comes with a big 5,500mAh battery to provide 4 days uninterrupted power. around the screen is 6.9 inches, and Xiaomi is using an 18:9 screen for the first time in the series. Top and bottom bezels are present, though pretty thin in relation to the vast expanse of the screen. The resolution is 1080p, so you’ll probably be able to make out pixels, but that’s not likely to be a huge concern for users that want something like this as a primary video device.

Powered by a Snapdragon 636 processor backed by up to 6GB of memory. This is all you need to know about the enormous Xiaomi Mi Max 3.

First thing’s first — the Xiaomi Mi Max 3’s absolutely enormous display. It’s a 6.9-inch IPS LCD running a 2,160 x 1,080-pixel resolution in an 18:9 resolution. That gives it a pixels-per-inch measurement of 350, making it far from one of the sharpest phones we’ve ever seen, but it should be clear enough for most.

As you might expect, for 6.9 inch device the body is pretty big, and the Mi Max 3 towers over even the Galaxy Note 8 by over half an inch in height — but thanks to a bezel-less design, it’s not quite approaching small tablet size in footprint. Slim bezels run up the sides of the phone, leading into a fairly slim forehead and chin. Not the slimmest we’ve seen, but not terrible for a high end phone.

Powering all this is a massive 5,500mAh battery with fast charge technology, which Xiaomi has managed to cram into a 7mm-thick chassis. The company says it can be charged to 71 percent in one hour. Other specs include a 12-megapixel plus 5-megapixel dual-camera system, a Snapdragon 636 processor, up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
