How to share your Wi-Fi password between iPhones

Obviously technology has come to stay. Apple’s iOS has a feature built into it which enables a user to share Wi-Fi passwords between iOS devices bringing them close to each other. It makes use of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and the Apple ID of every single user so as to share the password.

Sharing your Wi-Fi password is somewhat provoking at times. Say for example, you have a Wi-Fi password that combines letters, numbers and special characters (symbols), it might prove an uneasy task if you want to share that password with a loved one. However, with the coming of iOS 11, sharing of Wi-Fi passwords has gotten easier on iPhones and iPads although there are things you need to go over before you can do so.

The first one is to ensure that each of the phones have their Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on. To do this, go to Settings, then Wi-Fi and Settings, and then toggle it on (do the same for the Bluetooth).

The next thing, you want to do is make sure that the Apple ID of each phone is available in the “email” section in Contacts, this is very crucial. This also should work if each of the devices share the same Apple ID.
