1. For Tourist Visa

  • Recent passport photographs
  • Fully completed visa application form
  • A valid national passport
  • Bank statement of account showing an account balance capable of sustaining you throughout your stay in the country
  • Police report from the Nigerian police division showing that you’re not a criminal
  • Proof of group travel if you’re going as a group
  • Health certificate showing that you’re not suffering from illness
  • Admission form or acceptance letter from the educational institution in Cuba (if you’re going for study)

2. For Business Visa

  • A valid national passport
  • One recent passport photograph
  • A Completed Cuban visa Application Form
  • Proof of payment of the consular fee
  • If this application is made by mail, all of the above should be sent including a stamped envelope bearing your own address for the Passport to be returned
  • All payments must be made in cash or by a bank cheque
  • Birth Certificate

3. For Family Visa

  • Recent passport photographs
  • Fully completed visa application form

Permanent Residency

Obtaining permanent residency in Cuba as a citizen of Nigeria is pretty much easy. The process takes about up to six months, and the following documents are required from you in order to apply:

  • Your birth certificate
  • A letter stating the reasons for the application
  • Two recent passport photographs
  • A photocopy of your national passport with a certification that it has been compared with the original at the Cuban Consulate
