Meet Bolt’s Markus Villig, Europe’s youngest founder of £1 billion company, who is taking on Uber Save
In 2013, Markus Villig was simply just nineteen years old, and having simply graduated from high school, he had 2 choices: target his studies or grow his business.
“It looks like I created the correct selection,” Villig laughs, now 25. Six years when beginning taxi app company Bolt, the Estonian has become the youngest person in Europe to have developed a corporation worth over $1 billion.
And, as Bolt’s valuation has risen, so too have Villig’s ambitions. Now, he says, it’s time to take Uber’s crown.
Bolt has still got a long way to go, till it gets to an equivalent level of its geographic area rival,Uber. Around ten million folks use its app, a figure dwarfed by Uber’s ninety five million monthly world customers.
Still, Bolt has created and everlasting impact.
