10. GPS Units
GPS units allow for smooth and easy navigation along the roads by providing directions to reach your destination while driving your car. But with most smartphones having an inbuilt mechanism for GPS, the need for dedicated GPS may see a decline in the coming years. Besides, as the navigation apps on Google Maps begin to get smarter with advancement in technology, there could be further improvements. This may allow for better and effective integration with the personal assistant on the smartphone.
9. Point and Shoot Digital Cameras
With more advanced featured integrated into smartphone cameras, the use of point and shoot digital cameras will see a complete decline in the coming years. Smartphones that are expensive and come with plenty of features may be able to give you better pictures than your point and shoot digital cameras. For most smartphones, 8 to 12 megapixels cameras are fairly common and convenient to carry that can give high-resolution images. Probably, the only people who have a keen interest in photography might continue to still use DSLRs.

Over the years, technologies have been shrinking right from hard drives and then floppy disks further to rewritable CDs and DVDs and thumb drives to the modern ones that can virtually store multiple gigs of data as much as a hard drive. The increasing usage of cloud-based storage solutions that offer unlimited capacity along with zero physical space will see a complete decline of flash drives over the years. Landlines are becoming less common and over the years, their usage is already on a decline with mobile and smartphones replacing them completely.
